Shopkins "phenomenon" continues with apparel and publishing deals

Bulldog Licensing has secured a raft of new licensees for Shopkins, a kids’ property described by the firm as “an absolute phenomenon”.

Aykroyds.TDP has signed with the firm to develop a line of children’s nightwear, underwear and swimwear for the UK and Eire.

Meanwhile, Autumn Publishing/Bonnier will be launching a range of scented published titles, scheduled to hit the shelves of all English-speaking markets. The collection will include scented sticker books, scented sticker activity books, shopping bag craft kits, scented puzzle books and more.

The new partners join an already burgeoning portfolio of licensees, including Character World for bedding and more, Pedigree for annuals, Winning Moves for games and Whitehouse Leisure for amusement plush.

“Shopkins is proving to be an absolute phenomenon,” said Bulldog Group MD, Rob Corney.

“The demand is incredible and the brand is showing huge growth with retailers across the whole market asking us for more product and bespoke promotions. Kids just can’t get enough of them and it’s no surprise that we are securing deals with so many top licensees.”
