The Annoying Orange rights owner The Collective has announced six new licensees in apparel, toys, gifts, and publishing. The deals were brokered by Rocket Licensing.
In toys, Underground Toys will distribute The Bridge Direct’s US toy range in the UK this month.
In apparel two new partners have been signed – TV Mania will produce boys apparel, nightwear and underwear while Poetic Gem has inked a deal to make adult apparel, nightwear, and underwear.
In publishing Annoying Orange books will be produced by Egmont while Pedigree Books will make annuals.
PMS International will develop a line of novelty leisure gifts.
Rob Wijeratna, Joint Managing Director of Rocket Licensing, said, “We took on the Annoying Orange licence a matter of months ago and have been amazed by the response. Not only do we already have many significant licenses in place but our growing group of partners report excellent feedback and a growing commitment from retailers. This is clearly a fruit with appeal.”
To date Annoying Orange has over 2.4 million YouTube subscribers and more than one billion total views.
