Smiley has teamed up with Unilever to create a new retail promotion that has seen 100,000 SmileyWorldmug sets distributed to shoppers at Carrefour locations across Europe in a two week period.
The promotion rewarded customers who spent over €15 across the range of Unilever products with a special SmileyWorld gift. Featuring a specially designed giveaway set of 2 Smiley mugs, the promotion launched in 45 Carrefour Hypermakets and 450 Carrefour Market stores across Europe.
The loyalty promotion was created in partnership with European promotional agency Xpect and spanned a two-week period. It was activated at retail with an in-store POS campaign featuring posters, banderoles, top-card displays, cubes and pallet corners.
