In her new role, Morgan will have a number of important duties relating to the continuing promotion of Smileyworld and other Smiley brands as well as the charitable venture, The Smiley World Association.
In the licensing sphere, the new recruit’s duties will include controlling and coordinating all products and liaising with licensees.
On the marketing side, duties will incorporate responsibility for the release and update of trade product information through all relevant media. In addition, Morgan will coordinate the firm’s PR offices in five countries and ensure they are kept up to date with all relevant developments.
Morgan joins Simleyworld from 4Kids where she was UK licensing Coordinator, working with brands such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Monster Jam, Jim Henson, Cabbage Patch Kids and The Dog across all licensing categories.
Previously to her role at 4Kids, Morgan was assistant to the marketing director of BBC Magazines and press assistant at luxury footwear and accessories licensing and branding agency Lambert Howarth Group, where brands managed included Pringle of Scotland, Radley and French Connection.
