American Greetings and its licensing agent in the territory, CPLG France, will be showing the Strawberry Shortcake brand at the upcoming Kazachok exhibition later this month.
It will be the first time that AGP has exhibited at the event, with the company planning to introduce the Cherry Jam character into the French marketplace.
Additional plans for the brand in the region include a promotion with the Association d'Organisations de Production Nationale de Fraise (National Association of Production of Strawberries). Running until June, a Strawberry Shortcake costume character will appear at strawberry farms throughout France to promote the berries, share recipes and interact with children.
The brand will also provide continued support to the Toutes a l'ecole (All at School) programme, which is fundraising for a new all girls school in Cambodia through various Strawberry Shortcake-themed events.
