The National Gallery signs lip-smacking Delicious Art exclusive with Boots

The National Gallery Delicious Art brand brings iconic artworks to a selection of foods, drinks and gifts.

The National Gallery Company’s successful Delicious Art range is expanding with a new collection of gift sets sold exclusively at Boots UK.

After a fruitful two years for the brand, the new range will be available in over 100 Boots stores and online at for Christmas 2018.

The new gift set comprises new designs and product updates including a miniature marmalade and preserve collection, biscuit tin and English breakfast tea and mug set, cheese board and condiments set, coffee cup and saucer set, fudge tin and stationery gifts.

The gifts feature images of some of the best-known paintings from the National Gallery Collection including Van Gogh’s Sunflowers, Canaletto’s Venice: The Grand Canal and Bosschaert’s A Still Life of Flowers in a Wan-Li Vase.

“I am delighted with the success of Delicious Art at Boots and excited to see the range expand into stationery for Christmas 2018,” said Judith Mayer, buying and licensing director, national Gallery Company.

“The new Delicious Art gift sets are included in the three for two gift offer, making this range more accessible than ever.”

The gift sets join the existing National Gallery Delicious Art products that celebrate the excellence of high quality food and drink, as well as the Gallery’s paintings. Other products in the collections include wine, chocolate, loose teas, gourmet jams and chutneys.

The National Gallery Delicious Art range for Boots is licensed under IG Design Group.

Steve Morton, managing director, IG design Group Gifting Division, said: “We have been working with the National Gallery Company for three years on Delicious Art, it has been a privilege to work with the assets available at the Gallery.

“To honour the history of the paintings, w have ensured that the reproduction of the art on the products is first class. We have built the brand to have longevity but with flexibility so th collections can be reinvented every year.

“The IG Design Group is planning to expand similar ranges into overseas markets and develop gifting products for a variety of audiences.”
