The Very Hungry Caterpillar partners with Cawston Press

On pack promotions will offer prizes to raise awareness of Action for Children's 2015 Giant Wiggle.

Rocket Licensing has inked a deal between Cawston Press and The Very Hungry Caterpillar for an on-pack promotion featuring the classic character.

Beginning in spring 2015, Cawston Press is planning an on-pack promotion on its 200ml Kids' Blends range, offering redemptions on Very Hungry Caterpillar prizes and gifts through the Cawston website.

The juice flavours include apple and mango, apple and pear, apple and summer fruits and apple and blackcurrant.

The packs will also supply links and information to charity Action for Children to promote participation in the next Very Hungry Caterpillar-inspired Giant Wiggle.

This year's Giant Wiggle, which saw over 32,000 children from more than 750 schools and nurseries wiggling along in giant caterpillar conga lines, raised over £80,000.

"We're thrilled to be working with such an iconic brand and delighted to be able to support Action for Children," said Cawston Press' John Mulvey. "With their strong emphasis on wholesome, tasty fruit, we like to think our drinks are entirely appropriate for the Very Hungry Caterpillar - not to mention his fans."

Charlie Donaldson, joint MD at Rocket, added: "Cawston Press fruit juices are a big lunchbox favourite and these on-pack promotions are a marvellous way to keep kids up to date with their favourite caterpillar - and promote a major charity event."
