Licensing agent Those Licensing People has pledged its support to the Licensing.biz People Awards by sponsoring the Licensor of the Year (Enterprise) Award.

Those Licensing People was established in 2013 by industry veteran Russell Neale Anthony Dever of 1461 Ltd and Alasdair Dewar of Mulberry Winford and recent deals for the firm have included agreements with Versace 19.69 Abbigliamento Sportivo, Mad Dog Energy Drinks and Cyber Group Studios for ZOU.

"Those Licensing People backs the Licensing People of the Year Awards because behind every successful property there are real people working hard to drive IP forward in an increasingly competitive market," said Russell Neale Anthony Dever, managing director, Those Licensing People.

"It's the late hours, early mornings and extra time that people put into properties that can make all the difference. While the brand might the hero, it's the people behind the brand making it happen who should receive the accolade. Yes, Licensing can be fraught with legal issues, product melt-downs, delayed launches, but the buzz we all get from this business can also be electrifying and deeply satisfying at the same time and that is why Those Licensing People is a proud sponsor of The Licensing People Awards."

There are a few tickets left for this Friday’s awards, taking place at South Kensington's Millennium Gloucester hotel, but you’ll need to move fast.
