The Froobles - a new children's character brand - will make its debut at Frankfurt Book Fair next month.
Top That Publishing launched the brand with 12 printed titles earlier this week, which will be followed up by enhanced ebooks in October. iPhone, iPad and iTouch apps are due to be released on iTunes in November and an activity book range and merchandise will launch in 2012.
The Froobles are being marketed as a character brand for the under fives.
"The Froobles is our first character brand that has been developed simultaneously in print and digital formats," said David Henderson, MD. "The brand will be launched with 12 printed books in September and will be followed up with supporting apps in the autumn.
"Books-plus titles are planned for 2012 and a dedicated website is now live and will introduce the characters to children with fun educational games and activities."
