Tottenham Hotspur FC is looking to expand its presence further in the US market, appointing a dedicated licensing agent to manage key deals.
Fermata Partners has a proven track record in the sports licensing field, having operated a successful programme across US college sports for a number of years.
The club has previously worked with Sports Endeavors on a bespoke range of apparel in the US. It has also exhibited at Licensing Expo in Las Vegas for the past two years, further engaging with potential licensees in the region.
"We are delighted to be working with Fermata Partners," said Gary Jacobson, brand licensing manager at Tottenham Hotspur. "Our North American fanbase is hugely important to the club and this relationship will bring us closer to supporters in this region.
"Tottenham Hotspur's strong brand values are ones that we share with our licensees, and we strive to ensure that any licensee we work with produces a quality product that represents the club in the right way and has the experience and ability to maximise the product at retail."
Kit Walsh, co-founder of Fermata Partners, added: "Tottenham Hotspur is an iconic football brand competing at the highest levels of the sport. We are honoured to be aligned with Spurs and look forward to collaborating with the club to build its brand presence in North America."
The growing interest in Tottenham Hotspur in North America is summed up by a 48 per cent increase in the number of US fans registered on the club database within 12 months, with a 45 per cent increase in Canada.
