Metrostar and Dennis Publishing have revealed three apparel deals for the Viz brand.
Push Merchandising is launching a range of t-shirts into record retail; Famous Forever has secured a listing from Next; while The Officers Club will launch a direct to retail range of t-shirts in its UK stores early next year.
The lines will feature famous Viz characters such as Sid the Sexist and Roger Mellie, while Metrostar is working with licensees to generate new designs based on Viz's Top Tips and spoof ads.
"Viz and its characters evoke great memories for a generation and yet it's still as fresh and funny as it ever was," said Metrostar's Claire Potter. "We're delighted to be working with three licensees who are so excited by and ambitious for the brand."
