JELC has secured two new greetings cards licensees for its woodland and wild animals brand, Lillipippins, taking it across the globe.

Simson Cards, one of Australia's leading greetings cards publishers, and Portfolio in the UK, will both launch ranges this May.

The Simson range will kick of with a series of 36 Lillipippins designs in 140mm x 170mm.

The UK range from Portfolio will feature 24 designs in 140mm x 165mm.

Both ranges will feature the images of woodland and wild animals situated with household objects from the award-winning designer Lisa Johnson.

The Portfolio range will launch in mid-May at Progresive Greetings Live 2013, the annual international greetings card show at London's Business Design Centre.

The cards will then appear at retail in specialist card shops, gift shops and major stores from June 2013.

The Simson range will also launch in May and will retail throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Jane Evans, joint managing director at JELC, said: "Lillippipins has it all: sophistication, humour, breath-taking elegance and a real 'ahhh' factor.

"We were sure it would have a strong appeal to providers of quality design-led greetings cards - and we are delighted that two leading and highly respected name in this field have embraced the brand so enthusiastically."

JELC is currently promoting Lillipippins as an ideal brand for greetings and stationary, publishing, new media, housewares and decor, giftware, nursery products, apparel, confectionery and food, and health and beauty products.
