Universal Brand Development partners with Gen Art for Jurassic Park 25th anniversary fashion line

Universal Brand Development has commissioned Gen Art to design a capsule collection inspired by the 26 Anniversary of the global blockbuster, Jurassic Park.

The Gen Art x Jurassic Park 25 apparel line will debut March 28 this year on Macys.com and exclsuvely at the Macy’s Herald Square location on April 28.

Fans can further celebrate the world of Jurassic with the upcoming release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom n June 22, 2018.

“As Gen Art enters a new age of supporting emerging talent through strategic, consumer-focused programmes, we are honoured to collaborate with Universal Brand Development on the Gen Art x Jurassic Park 25 collection,” said Keri Ingvarsson, partner, Gen Art.

“Universal is synonymous with great filmmaking and we are thrilled that the studio is supporting the future of great fashion talent.”

Los Angeles-based Phoebe Dahl, creative director of Gen Art has created a collection consisting of relaxed womenswear, menswear and unisex silhouette separates in jungle green, red, salmon, khaki and mustard hues, drawn from Jurassic Park.

The range includes silk dresses and jumpsuits, biker jackets, terry harem pants and hoodies, floral shirts and more.

“25 years ago, Jurassic Park captivated audiences worldwide, and fans today continue to celebrate the film’s legacy,” said Stephanie Kraus, senior vice president worldwide, product design and development, consumer products, Universal Brand Development.

“Gen Art is renowned for working with some of the most influential designers and we are excited to collaborate with them on a collection that captures the beauty, wonder and thrills of the inaugural chapter of our beloved franchise.”
