Space Enterprises has appointed The Joester Loria Group as US licensing agent for The Hive.
The company is now the exclusive North American agent for the pre-school TV series, which has been airing on Disney Junior in the US since October 2012.
The Joester Loria Group's licensing and merchandising programme for The Hive focuses on 'the cheerful cast of characters and their adventures designed to entertain pre-school children'. Key categories include toys, games, publishing, apparel, confectionary and more.
The Hive is a 30-minute show consisting of 26 episodes which has buzzed its way into more than 150 countries. It originates from the UK, having been produced by Monumental Productions, Lupus Films and DQ Entertainment.

The Hive’s UK licensing program is also growing, with Mookie Toys having been announced as master toy partner and LeapFrog releasing video packages on the LeapPad learning tablet and Leapster Explorer learning console.
Other UK licensees include Jupiter Toys (wooden toys and furniture), Blues Clothing (children’s apparel), Aykroyds TDP (children’s sleepwear), and Ravensburger (jigsaws and puzzles).
Space and Avanquest are also set to launch The Hive iOS games apps on iTunes.
