The licensing division of the Victoria & Albert Museum has inked a new deal with David Textiles, which will see the brand expand further into international markets.

The agreement will see a line of fabrics and quilt kits distributed worldwide by California-based David Textiles.

The new products will be launched in spring 2010 to coincide with the V&A's Quilts 1700-2010 exhibition - which will be running from March 20th to July 4th 2010.

The V&A is expecting interest in both the products and the exhibition to be high, with the return to traditional crafts and skills providing it with a new target market.

?With the collections we have, the opportunities for licensing are infinite,? explains Lauren Sizeland, head of licensing for V&A.
