Lancome has released a short film starring 1930s cartoon icon Betty Boop and supermodel Daria Werbowy.
It’s part of the Lancome Hypnose Star mascara campaign which has now launched in the UK, Allsorts Licensing confirmed.
The film is called Star Eyes and has been written and directed by French director Joann Sfar. It will appear on Lancome websites and YouTube.
Retailer Selfridges has exclusive point-of-sale materials and animated light displays featuring Betty Boop. This will roll out across the UK from July 15th.
Claire Atherton, licensing executive at UK agent Allsorts Licensing, said: “Betty Boop continues to push back the boundaries. We are delighted with this high-end brand association and the Selfridges launch.”
