Withit has taken on a brace of agents to help boost its international ambitions.
In Benelux, BN Licensing has been appointed and will be overseen by Robert Speijer, while Copyright Licensing Agency will handle the Middle East and North Africa region, led by Hussein Ftouni.
The new agents will focus on expanding the Withit characters into markets with broad appeal for art-designed goods. It is expected that the characters will be particularly popular across multiple social and cultural demographics.
The focus will be to secure licensees across stationery and apparel.
The news follows the appointment of two licensing agents for Spain and Portugal, as well as Mexico in March.
"We've had a particularly strong first quarter in 2012 and I'm delighted that we now have four great agents on board to help us expand the international breadth of the Withit," said the firm's Richard Woolf. "Their regional expertise will greatly enhance our opportunities to attract new licensees in all these key markets."
