Trade body to provide licensing advice at new event to be held on Friday, November 7th.

LIMA teams with CMC Rights Exchange

LIMA is to be provide licensing advice at the Children’s Media Conference’s new CMC Rights Exchange event, which is being held on Friday, November 7th at London’s Two Temple Palace.

LIMA UK MD Kelvyn Gardner and Ryan Beaird, UK membership manager, will be on hand at a dedicated LIMA table throughout the day to meet with delegates from across children’s publishing, TV, animation, film, games and apps, providing advice about licensing children’s IP and building new partnerships.

Delegates can also book appointments with LIMA using the event’s bespoke meeting booking system.

"LIMA has previously supported CMC by hosting seminars and panels at their major event each July," explained Gardner. "Now we are carrying the message of the value of licensing to creative entrepreneurs by attending the CMC Rights Exchange where we will offer advice to the many media companies present on how to make licensing work for their businesses.

"LIMA’s mission is to foster the growth and expansion of licensing around the world – and by attending events such as this, we continue to educate the broader business community as to the benefits of licensing as a strategic marketing tool."

The CMC Rights Exchange is a new one-day event, designed to connect players in the children’s publishing and media industries so that they can trade rights and services, and also build the new partnerships they need to make a success of IP and brands.
