Matthew Glynn of the Football Association has been named as LIMA UK’s Rising Star.
The LIMA UK Rising Star Award is designed to support excellence among junior licensing industry professionals.
Glynn will receive one year of mentorship from LIMA UK managing director Kelvyn Gardner.
“I am absolutely delighted to win the LIMA Rising Star Award having only recently stepped into a managerial role at The FA,” commented Glynn.
“Licensing allows you to gain great skills and knowledge across sales, legal, product development and marketing so it is great to know that my work is being acknowledged. I have been lucky enough to work with some exceptional people and companies in the industry so I can only thank them enough for sharing their knowledge with me to date.
"I’ll certainly be using the award to generate greater exposure for the licensing industry and help support the continued growth of what is a really fun industry.”
Kelvyn Gardner added: “I look forward to working with Matthew, who has shown a commitment to and passion for the UK licensing industry as well as demonstrating innovation, initiative and leadership in his career to date.
"It is also great to celebrate sports licensing with our young professionals and we’re really pleased to be able to recognize and support such talent in our industry.”
