Line Friends and BT21 make play for Latin America with Tycoon Enterprises

The global character brand Line Friends has partnered with the Latin American licensing outfit Tycoon Enterprise to develop the consumer products and brand extension business for BT21 in Mexico, Chile and Peru.

BT21 is the first character IP created by Friends Creators project, which is a long-term unique and creative strategy to create a new kind of character IP business based on global artists from different fields. BT21 features eight charming characters, Koya, Rr, Shooky, Mang, Chimmy, Tata, Cooky, and Van.

BT21 has grown into a global phenomenon among the millennials worldwide and BT21 merchandise is now widely loved by consumers around the world. From backpacks and pins to tees, consumer electronics and housewares, the brand has been displayed in all Line Friends flagship stores in trend-leading markets including NY, Los Angeles, Korea, Japan, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, UK and so on, as well as numerous branded pop-up shops opening in various regions.
