The Hong Kong International Licensing Show is gearing up to welcome over 13,000 buyers, when it opens its doors on January 10th.
Last year, the event - which runs alongside the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair until January 12th - featured 143 exhibitors, more than 300 brands and properties and attracted 13,366 buyers.
Product categories include art and design, celebrities, characters, corporate brands, sport, fashion and lifestyle and digital entertainment.
Also running alongside the show is a full licensing conference programme, as well as the Asian Licensing Awards.
The successful Toys & Games Fair, meanwhile, attracted a total of 1,915 exhibitors from 38 countries and regions, including group pavilions from the Chinese mainland, India, Korea, Pakistan, Spain, Taiwan and Thailand, to the 2010 event.
The show was visited by more than 33,000 trade buyers from 125 countries and regions. This represented a total increase of 15 per cent over the previous year, with buyer attendance from outside Hong Kong up 36 per cent.
