Norwegian kids' TV production company Creacon has announced Mei will manage all ticketed live event and theatre shows for City of Friends worldwide.

This adds to Mei's current remit of managing mini-shows and character appearances across Asia, Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

The extended agreement between Creacon Entertainment and Mei follows the success of City of Friends Live: Mystery in Friends Forest - the live 90-minute arena show which debuted in Norway in September 2012.

Carl Christian Hamre, Founder and CEO of Creacon Entertainment, said: "Following the success of our recent City of Friends Live arena show in Norway, we are taking the next step in our global strategy to grow our live events business for City of Friends.

"Mei is a proven best-in-class partner in delivering live events and we are keen to take our live event format to our City of Friends fans throughout the world."

Nick Larkin, Managing Director of Mei, commented: “We are thrilled to extend our partnership with City of Friends across the world.

"Having recently worked with Creacon on the successful City of Friends arena show in Norway, we now plan to take this show which delighted thousands of fans in Norway further afield as Mei continues to put smiles on people's faces across the world."
