BLE 2014: Brands With Influence to showcase Enid Blyton titles

The Famous Five, The Secret Seven and The Naughtiest Girl brands to be presented at next week's show.

The Enid Blyton Estate, owned by Hachette UK, has appointed Brands with Influence to represent key Enid Blyton brands The Famous Five, The Secret Seven and The Naughtiest Girl.

The deal follows a successful McDonald’s promotion with The Secret Seven earlier this year and Hachette is keen to capitalise on the 'enormous brand equity and public affection' for the titles.

“We continue to see fantastic demand for Enid Blyton’s books and we felt the time was right to expand into licensing," said Karen Lawler of Hachette UK.

"BWI brought some innovative ideas to the table and were very much in tune with the needs of the Enid Blyton Estate. We are really looking forward to developing long term partnerships and exciting new products.”

Dom Wheeler of Brands with Influence added: “The Famous Five and The Secret Seven are international favourites for kids and parents alike.

"It is a real honour to be working on such iconic brands. We also see real potential in re-launching brands like The Naughtiest Girl. Our in house creative teams will be working through some fun and engaging new concepts.”

Brands with Influence will be presenting the brands to the market for the first time at BLE next week at stand B057.
