BLE 2014: Sony accelerates Driveclub licensing push with Bioworld apparel deal

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has signed a deal with Bioworld for apparel and accessories based on its new PS4 racing game, Driveclub.

The company is developing a licensing programme for game, which launched yesterday, and Bioworld is on board for Driveclub branded shirts, caps, belts, keyrings, wallets and phone cases.

"Driveclub is one of the most hotly-anticipated games of the year and we are expecting a great response to the title," said David Evans, European licensing manager at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.

"We have worked with Bioworld across several SCEE brands and they have a strong track record in delivering high-calibre products which resonate with fans.

"We look forward to working with them and welcoming new licensees to the Driveclub licensing programme at BLE.”
