Warner Bros. Consumer Products has signed a global deal with publishing partner Eaglemoss for an all new Harry Potter partwork collection.

Launching in 2015, Eaglemoss’ new Harry Potter collection will feature a collection of figurines inspired by the Harry Potter film series and will come with background facts and information about the characters.

“We are very excited to be working with WBCP for this new collection inspired by Harry Potter, one of the biggest film franchises ever," said Maggie Calmels, creative global development director at Eaglemoss.

"We understand the need for authenticity and attention to detail and are confident that what we are creating in our magazines and collectible products will make this a massive hit with Harry Potter fans, and bring on board a whole new generation ofHarry Potter collectors. This first partwork, together with the additional partworks we have in development, should satisfy collectors’ appetites for years to come.”

The collection is set for launch in the UK next year, with launch dates for other markets to be announced at a later date.

Pilar Zulueta, executive vice president and general manager, Warner Bros. Consumer Products EMEA, added: “We are excited to be working with Eaglemoss on this new range of partworks products for the many millions of Harry Potter fans to collect.

"Harry Potter has a track record as an extremely successful property in partworks and this next one should be no exception. With characters and storylines from the film series to work with the Eaglemoss collection, we know this will be a truly great collection to have."
