Launched eight years ago, Robin Zingone brands have been licensed in many categories from fabric to back-to-school. The artist focuses on women and girls and will feature her properties in style guides for 2012 at Brand Licensing Europe.

There will be four brands on display at BLE. The signature brand, Robin Zingone, is for the modern woman. Zingone explains: "With a sophisticated palette of colour, the brand offers a fresh take on florals, geometrics and graphics."

Licensees already on board for the brand include stationery and gift, publishing, art, fabric, party and wedding. The firm is looking to sign deals within homewards, apparel, accessories and social expression.

The kawaii brand, LoveMe Robin Zingone: "Combines iconic graphics with Victorian modern to target the widest demographic of infant to adult. A collection of the cutest dogs and cats kicked off in scrapbooks, stickers, greetings cards and skins for electronic devices."

Zingone is looking to licence the LoveMe property into homewares, apparel, gift, toys and pet.

Third is a collectable brand, Girlygirl Robin Zingone, which stars a 'fabulous fashionista'. Zingone explains: "Whether she is shopping with her puppy, lounging on the beach or drinking a martini, she attracts an international audience of tweens to young women."

The brand debuted in Mexico on back to school products and is now in Ecuador and Columbia. The brand is currently featured on bike helmets in Spain and Portugal and in the US has been licensed in the social expression and papergoods sectors. Zingone is looking to grow the brand into apparel, accessories, homewares, toiletries, electronics, stationery and gifts.

Finally, Cocomimilulu, Zingone describes the property: "Three sisters and their friends come complete with character development, a style guide and a storybook outline."

The brand has appeared in scrapbooks for tweens, homewares, and is available for animation, toys, toiletries, apparel and accessories.

The creator of these brands, Robin Zingone, started a career in graphic design and illustration after graduating from Parsons School of Design in NYC. Work followed in ad agencies, creating illustrations for various media titles and American Express.

However following the 9/11 tragedy, work 'dried up'. Zingone explains: "Having illustrated the Barbie style guides for five years, I decided to make a career change into licensing my own lines in a global marketplace. The first licence was for the signature brand, Robin Zingone.

Having exhibited at Licensing International in both New York and Las Vegas, the firm noticed a large percentage of international visitors the its stand, so decided to extend its reach to London and BLE.
