The team at Advanstar has made a concerted effort throughout sales, marketing and PR to continually grow European representation at the show.
Tailored and translated editorial and emails, extensive advertising within key European publications and telemarketing to canvass opinion of key players throughout the region, have all been used to grow the European exhibitor numbers.
The ever-increasing European visitor base reflects the show’s name change from Brand Licensing to Brand Licensing Europe and as such, the organiser aims to make the show a true reflection of the entire European licensing industry.
Within the Advanstar team there are fluent Spanish, Italian, German, French and Norwegian speakers working on both the exhibitor and visitor facing sides of the show.
Sales are up by eight per cent on this time last year and are just seven sq metres off the total meterage for 2008.
Jessica Blue, director of BLE commented: “We're delighted that, year on year, Brand Licensing Europe is becoming increasingly representative of the European licensing industry as a whole and that we are now considered to be the definitive event for the industry.
“We look forward to welcoming our increasingly diverse visitor and exhibitor groups to the show this year and will continue to ensure their needs in this ever changing market are being met.”
