Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products has kicked off the UK licensing push for its an animated comedy series, Bob’s Burgers.

Partners on board in the US include Kid Robot/NECA and Funko for toys, and Rizzoli Publishing, whose The Bob’s Burger Burger Book is officially a New York Times Bestseller. This autumn, Rizzoli will next release The Official Bob’s Burgers Colouring Book written by Loren Bouchard and the creators of Bob’s Burgers.

US apparel partner Toddland showcased a dedicated Bob’s Burger booth at this year’s Comic-Con, while Hot Topic has just completed a nationwide promotion across 650 stores.

Bob’s Burgers' UK roll out is now officially underway and has already signed up Trademark Products for a range of adult t-shirts now available at HMV, Amazon, Primark and Pennies.

Elsewhere, GB Eye will be launching a comprehensive Bob’s Burger’s inspired gift line including posters and mugs at HMV and Forbidden Planet later this year.

"We’re thrilled to announce that Bob’s Burgers is officially open for business," said Sandra Vauthier-Cellier, SVP Fox Consumer Products EMEA.

"There is a real appetite for this razor sharp comedy and is a great example of the tongue in cheek, animated shows which Twentieth Century Fox Television is known for. The brand plays to our proven strengths of developing brands and licensing programmes for the discerning millennial audience, Bob’s Burgers has all the potential to be one of the hottest openings of Brand Licensing Europe 2016.”

Bob's Burgers is currently in its seventh series and, according to Fox, demand for merchandise is being spurred by the show’s growing fan-base of males aged 18 to 34.
