British Academy Children's Awards nominees revealed

Peppa Pig, Harry Potter, Horrible Histories, Little Princess, Rastamouse and Octonauts among those shortlisted.

The nominations for this year's British Academy Children's Awards have been unveiled.

Hosted for a second year running by Blue Peter presenter Barney Harwood, the accolades will be handed out on Sunday November 27th at the London Hilton, Park Lane.

Notable nominees include Peppa Pig - which received its tenth nomination to date - Horrible Histories, which has bagged three nominations; The Sarah Jane Adventures (nominated for a fourth consecutive year); Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2; Kung Fu Panda 2; Tangled; Little Princess; Rastamouse and Octonauts.

In addition, Justin Fletcher is nominated again for Something Special in the Presenter category, having won in 2010 and 2008, alongside Deadly 60's Steve Backshall and Milkshake's Kemi Majeks.

The BAFTA Young Game Designers award returns after a successful debut in 2010, while there is also the BAFTA Kids' Vote, in which children aged between seven and 14 have their say across a wide range of entertainment media.
