Taking place in July in Sheffield, the Children's Media Conference has announced its programme of events.
The conference is aimed at everyone involved in developing, producing and distributing kids' content across all platforms. It runs from July 6th to the 8th at the Showroom and Workstation in Sheffield.
Film producer Lord Puttnam will deliver this year's keynote speech, challenging the delegates to take a fresh look at their audience and 'Think Differently', the theme of this year's conference.
A range of masterclasses and panel sessions are also planned. These will include Michael Acton Smith, MD of Mind Candy and creator of Moshi Monsters, giving a masterclass on how the brand has risen from a website to a global transmedia franchise, with over 50 million users.
Commissioners from all major broadcasters - including Cbeebies, CBBC, ITV and Turner Broadcasting - plus representatives from Channel 4, S4C, Disney and Nickelodeon will be outlining their vision and buying plans.
Early bird delegate passes are now on sale. Visit the official website to get a rate of £190 (plus VAT) until May 15th.
Further information on the conference is also available on the website.
