Running from June 30th to July 2nd, the annual gathering in Sheffield for the kids' content industry is now known as the Children's Media Conference.

Formerly known as the Showcomotion Children's Media Conference, the event has undergone a number of changes for 2010. The main organisation has been set up to offer a broad range of services, associated with the core aim of improving the media experience of UK kids through the development of the industry sectors that serve them.

The event will kick off with a keynote session with Henry Winkler, best known as The Fonz from Happy Days. Winkler, who has also written 17 children's books, will explore the conference theme 'how can children's media make a positive impact on kids' lives?'

Other speakers will include execs from Nickelodeon UK, Turner Broadcasting, ITV and BBC Children's among others.
