Classic Media has acquired the international distribution rights to Team Franco – a new 52 x 11 CG-animated series that’s “inspired by the thrills and spills of motor racing”.
The show will make its debut at Mipcom next month. It follows the adventures of the six year-old racing fanatic Franco who uses his imagination to transform play mat race cards into his own race team – Team Franco.
“Team Franco introduces unique cultural and geographical aspects that are fun, memorable and age appropriate,” said Marina Nicholas, creator/CEO, Formula Fun Entertainment. “Franco is a character who provides a touchstone for all pre-schoolers, and through him they will thrill to his team’s adventures.”
Classic Media’s Chloé van den Berg, EVP international said: “Franco’s racing adventures and world travels will help teach children and their families important life skills including teamwork, strategic thinking and the fact that winning isn’t always the most important thing.
