The 2011 Kazachok International Licensing Forum is continuing to take shape, with the organisers revealing an increased number of pitching sessons, plus a reworked conference programme.
The conference programme will now feature four sessions - morning and mid-afternoon - to avoid clashes with the growing schedule of pitches.
The opening session on Thursday March 31st 2011 will be lead by Philippe Guinaudeau of Kidz Global, discussing entertainment brand licensing for children. This will be followed by Dora, A Global Success? with speakers for the session including Isabel Ferrer from Fisher-Price South Europe and Laurent Taieb from Nickelodeon. Looking at Dora's success across a number of different territories, there will also be additional insight from Axel Dämmler from Icon Kids & Youth, as well as a retail speaker.
Sessions on Friday April 1st, meanwhile, will include a focus on Publishing & Licensing: Multilateral Links and the use of special events in the development of a licence.
On top of this, a number of new exhibitors have confirmed their attendance at Kazachok, including Dependable Solutions, Mondadori and Paris Je'taime.
"It's great to see more new exhibitors signing up, as well as FremantleMedia Enterprises returning," said Nathalie Chouraqui, director of Kazachok. "We hope that everyone who comes to the show will have an opportunity to dip into the conference programme. We hope that the sessions will provide a dose of licensing insight and conversation at crucial times of the day and boost business done on the show floor as a result."
