The Dreamchaser Company will be making its BLE debut this year with its animated children’s property, Woolly and Pip.

Originally launched in the Netherlands in 2005 under the name Woezel and Pip, the property originated as a collection of short stories for pre-school kids.

Woolly and Pip went on to sell over 250,000 copies of its first title in Holland and in 2008 embarked on a full licensing programme.

Today, over 1.2 million books, 1.3 million soft toys, 350,000 DVDs and 250,000 theatre tickets have been sold in the Netherlands.

“Exceeding all expectations, Woolly and Pip quickly became a publishing sensation,” said the firm.

“Woolly and Pip were quickly, and unanimously embraced as the number one choice of not only children, but also parents throughout the country.”

The Dreamchaser Company is now bringing the property to London’s BLE this October.

“With our presence at BLE 2014 The Dreamchaser Company hopes to bring Woolly and Pip to a broader audience and to realize our international dreams and ambitions, with the addition of further licensing, publishing and TV partners for the international market.”
