The Market Family launches new initiative to recognise 45 "excellent" family brands.

A new set of awards aims to celebrate the top 'family brands' in the UK.

The Market Family will launch The Family Approved Awards, which will span 15 categories, covering "the best products, retailers and experiences". 

A group of family experts - including stay-at-home mums, go-to-work and juggle everything mums, dads, midwives, mummy bloggers and pre-school teachers - have selected 45 brands that have "demonstrated excellence" by enhancing family life through product range, innovation, experience or service. 

The winners will be selected by voting mums and dads across the UK. 

Rachael Taylor, head of The Market Family, said: “For some time our Family Approval process has been working hard to ensure marketing materials and campaigns strike a chord with families. 

"The Family Approved Awards take that premise a step further by recognising the brands that are making a real difference to family life. We’ve both worked with, and watched at a distance, some truly inspired products and services for this market and we look forward to seeing which brands mums and dads really rate.”

The Market Family has worked with a number of leading brands to help them engage with the family market from Cow & Gate and LEGO to SSL children’s medicines.
