Already a successful networking organisation in several other territories, the Women in Toys Association is now looking to replicate this in the UK, setting a date for its first London-based event.
WIT is a not for profit organising recognising and promoting the achievements of women in the toy, licensing and entertainment industries.
Its UK event will take place on Thursday July 15th at Sway Bar in London. This will be the first in a series of planned events for 2010.
Helen Howells, commercial director at Target Entertainment Group, and Louise Drabwell, MD of Rare Communications, were recently appointed as co-chairs of WIT in the UK.
"The aim of our WIT events is to recognise the great work of women in our industry, as well as provide the ultimate networking opportunity," Howells commented. "We are confident this beneficial and fun evening will become just the first of many key events in everyone's diaries."
Tickets for the July 15th event will cost £30. Simply click here to book.
