Record crowds attended last week's Licensing Essentials Course and Spring Fling networking event, with an expanded international audience considerably boosting numbers according to LIMA UK.
Over 170 people attended the event, which was held at the new venue of Hotel Verta in Battersea, London last Thursday (May 12th).
The international audience included delegates from the US, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Norway and China.
"The new venue for Spring Fling and the Licensing Essentials Course proved a resounding success with delegates and networkers alike," said Kelvyn Gardner, MD of LIMA UK. "With the management of Spring Fling now entirely in-house, our clear goal is to provide our members with world-class events in world-class venues. LIMA exists for and on behalf of our members and they deserve nothing less.
"Spring Fling 2011 has been a truly international affair, bringing together under one roof licensors, licensees, retailers, service providers and newcomers to the industry. Our task for the rest of this year and into 2012 is to continue to create innovative events that stimulate LIMA member companies and draw new businesses into the licensing fold."
