ITV's Thunderbirds Are Go blasts into experiential sector with two new consumer attractions

ITV Studios Global Entertainment has detailed a slate of new deals in the experiential and direct-to-consumer categories for the popular kids’ property, Thunderbirds Are Go.

Paragon Creative will develop themed attractions and experiences for the Thunderbirds Are Go brand, drawing on its experience in building them for museums, heritage centres, aquariums, science centres and more.

With examples of their work including a Wallace & Gromit ride at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, the Titanic Experience in Belfast and the Coronation Street tour, initial concepts for the Thunderbirds Are Go experiential attraction put guests at the heart of the experience by asking ‘can you be the next Thunderbird? International Rescue is waiting.’

Meanwhile, Immersive Rides create Revolutionary Ride Systems for the attraction and entertainment sectors and have developed a Dark Ride System for a Thunderbirds Are Go attraction.

The concept is built around a customisable ride, in which there are seven unique options to choose from, each including a particular Thunderbird vehicle.

The Dark Ride will use the latest technology in interactive Mapping Screens to provide guests with a ‘mind-blowing experience personally chosen by them.’

“Thunderbirds Are Go lends itself perfectly to experiential family activities and we look forward to seeing these in action.”

Further deals for Thunderbirds and Thunderbirds Are Go in the experiential and direct-to-consumer categories are in the pipeline and will be announced shortly.
