The 2011 Kazachok Licensing Forum is beginning to take shape, with the organisers planning to increase exhibitors, double visitor numbers and grow the international profile of participants.
The show will again be held at La Halle Freyssinet, but will run slightly earlier - March 31st and April 1st - to fit better with Bologna Book Fair and MIPTV. There will also be a lower entrance fee of 45 Euros for the two days.
New features will include Trend showcases which will display a selection of products, visuals, style guides and artwork, plus the introduction of Forum TV. This will promote new properties and brands via sizzles and teasers, presentations and episodes on digital screens located around the showfloor.
There will be an increase in pitching sessions from 25 to 36, while the conference programme has been redesigned to feature four key seminars lead by industry experts.
Exhibitors already signed up include Nickelodeon, Warner Bros Consumer Products, 4Kids, Marathon Media, Nelvana, TF1 Licences, The Licensing Company, Toei Animation Europe and Planeta Junior.
