LIMA UK is celebrating another successful Licensing Essentials Course and Spring Fling, with some 200 execs from across the business, as well as key retailers, turning out last week.
The event was held at the Wyndham Grand Hotel, Chelsea, London on Thursday May 17th and, for the first time, there was a heavy presence from High Street names such as Boots, Mothercare and Tesco.
Subjects covered during the day included opportunities in digital apps, tips for success with major retailers, the challenges and rewards of licensing in India and financial aspects so licensing agreements don't go wrong.
As in previous years, the Spring Fling kicked off with the Legendary Licensing Debate.
"We said last year that our goal was to provide our members with world class events in world class venues, and this year's Licensing Essentials Course and Spring Fling has been no exception," said Kelvyn Gardner, MD of LIMA UK. "This is one of the only events in the year to bring such a diverse audience from all over the industry together.
"It is equally valuable to a retail buyer seeking a better understanding of the licensing mix or a senior executive wanting the latest insights on where the next big thing is coming from. Delegates will have learned huge amounts from our industry experts that they can apply in their everyday roles."
