A comprehensive range of products from the London 2012 merchandise line-up will be displayed at next year's Spring Fair, after LOCOG confirmed its attendance at the Birmingham NEC event.

LOCOG has booked a 500 square metre stand in hall six. There will also be special guest appearances by VIPs of the sporting world including LOCOG chairman Sebastian Coe and gold medal triple jump legend, Jonathan Edwards.

Licensees displaying product will include Spearmark, Ulster Weavers, Roy Lowe, Highlander, Grant Barnett, Golden Bear, Winning Moves, Hornby, Hy-Pro, Football Mania, Pyramid, Universal, Royal Mail and The Royal Mint among others.

Meanwhile, two more licensees have joined the London 2012 programme.

Dartington will produce a range of glass home and gift items including drinking glasses, paperweights, vases, bowls, photo frames, figurines and commemorative pieces. The first products will launch in early 2011 and will feature the London skyline, the Union Flag and the mascots.

In addition, Bombki will produce collectable handmade glass baubles and decorations.

All items will be available through the London 2012 online store, its retail outlets at St Pancras International and Paddington stations, plus at Games times through official venue merchandise outlets.

"We have had a fantastic reaction to our programme from the retail industry to our plans and we look forward to seeing our plans come to fruition in the coming months," said Chris Townsend, commercial director at London 2012.
