Matt Hatter Chronicles returns to CITV for fourth season

ITV has given a fourth season of the popular pre-school series, Matt Hatter Chronicles the green light.

A further 13 episodes will now broadcast on the UK free to air network CITV, launching in 2015.

Matt Hatter Chronicles now airs in over 80 countries and is dubbed in 20 languages and boasts a ‘phenomenal’ global following.

“Matt Hatter Chronicles has been hugely popular with our CITV audience,” said Jamila Metran, head of programming at CITV.

“It’s great to be bringing brand new episodes to our viewers this autumn. New baddies and bigger and better adventures has ensured the series has kicked off to a fantastic start.”

The show has now emerged as one of CITV’s flagship’s shows since its debut in 2011 and now enjoys a burgeoning licensing programme, with more products rolling out this autumn, courtesy of Simba Dickie.
