Originally due to be held in Croatia in November, organiser Creata has revealed that Licensing New Europe will move to Moscow in March 2012.
While final dates are yet to be confirmed, the move was prompted by sheer demand, according to Goran Krnjak, MD of Creata.
"Licensors and agents we speak to are constantly looking for information about Russia and that is why we had a special focus on Russia and CIS lined up for this year's show," he said. "However, given that it is such an important market within the New Europe region, we took the decision to actually relocate the show to Moscow and give delegates the chance to become fully acquainted with the Russian licensing sector."
The new show will retain the traditional programme of company and property presentations, screenings, panel discussions, workshops and educational sessions.
