For the first time, those companies wishing to enter the Licensing Awards Best Licensed Property categories can do so online, kicking off from today.

There are six accolades up for grabs: Best Pre-school Licensed Property, Best Schoolers, Tween or Teen Licensing Property, Best Sports, Best Celebrity and Best Brand.

Plus, new for this year is the Best Classic Licensed Property. This new award is for properties which have stood the test of time, with at least a decade of licensing activity.

Each submission will be judged against commercial success over the last year, marketing and communications, creativity and innovation and management of the property over the last year.

Entries will be viewed online by a panel of industry experts - comprising retail buyers, licensees and consultants.

Deadline for entries is May 20th. Click here to enter.

"The Best Licensed Property Awards have become the ultimate accolades in the licensing industry," commented Ian Hyder, director of the Licensing Awards and Licensing Source Book. "By developing an online entering procedure for the Property Awards, with clear criteria, licensors can provide the information that presents their property or properties in the truest light."

The Licensing Awards move to a new venue this year, taking place on September 13th in The Great Room of the Grosvenor House Hotel, London. For tickets, contact Tracey or Cherry at Event Solutions and Promotions on 01372 841001.

You can also follow the awards by becoming a fan on Facebook and Twitter.
