Leading gardening charity, the Royal Horticultural Society has signed up Quintessential to produce a range of bags, purses and scarves, using images from its extensive archives.

The prints are created from artwork by Graham Stuart Thomas, one of the most influential British gardeners of the 21st century, and Caroline Maria Applebee, whose works depict a large variety of plants and flowers.

The collection - which includes fully lined woven baskets and satchels, purses and toiletry bags - will be debuted at Autumn Fair in September.

"We have tried to hold on to the feel of the original artwork, keeping the background canvas colours and natural floral hues," said Quintessential director, Carlos Quinteiro. "We always aim to bring something new to the market each season, but for our 2011 collection we have got even more to offer."
