The countdown is on to the licensing industry's premier awards night, with Licensing Source Book today revealing that comedian Rob Brydon will host the bash later this month.
The third annual awards night - which is owned and organised by Licensing Source Book, part of Max Publishing - takes place on Wednesday September 17th at The Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.
Spring Fair Birmingham is again the headline sponsor, while industry trade body LIMA UK is an official supporter.
"As we edge ever closer to revealing who will be hailed the best in the business at the Licensing Awards 2008, we can now unveil the brilliant Rob Brydon who will inject his own humour and genius into what is set to be our biggest event yet," said Ian Hyder, director of the Licensing Source Book.
The finalists were revealed back in July (click here for the full list). The award categories recognise products, retailers and property owners, while this year the awards include five new gongs dedicated to brand licensing (encompassing sports and celebrities, as well as general brands).
