Santoro eyes "bigger presence" at next year's BLE show

Following a successful BLE 2016, Santoro is already planning to bolster its presence at next year's show. 

The firm was 'delighted by the continued enthusiasm from licensees, retailers and agents' for their collections at the show, held back in October at London's Olympia.

“The quality of attendees and results of this year's Brand Licensing Europe was outstanding for Santoro" said Jo Campbell, general manager.

"We're already planning for next year when we aim to have an even bigger presence".

Categories that Santoro saw interest in spanned outerwear, nightwear and underwear, both for the UK and Europe, with strong interest from a number of leading UK and international retailers, including DTR opportunities, cosmetics and toiletries.

Extensions to the craft category were discussed, as were opportunities for BTS stationery, tableware and melamine/lunchware.

Santoro is now in the process of closing deals with various countries for Gorjuss which span headwear, fashion accessories, socks, apparel, underwear, pyjamas, footwear, beach accessories, Back to School bags, toiletry bags and cushions.
