The Science Museum is bringing its successful internet game Launchball to Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch devices.
The game - which first launched on the Science Museum website in 2007 - has over two million players worldwide and will be specially revamped for the Apple formats.
Launchball invites players to place blocks with different functions across the playing area. The aim is to guide a ball from a start point to an end point. The original can still be played by clicking here.
"We are really pleased to be working with Bright AI," said Ben Jackson, licensing executive at the Science Museum. "Launchball has been a terrific success so far and it is great to be working with a partner to bring the game to iPhone and iPod Touch."
David Lane, MD of Bright AI, added: "We are absolutely delighted with being involved in bringing the Launchball smash hit title to the iPhone and iPod Touch. The game has a huge following and great community component, coupled with its creative and also educational style, the game perfectly embodies the sentiment of what Bright AI brings to the mobile platform."
