Already a hit on the High Street, Over the Moon is looking to cement the popularity of its Pip greeting card brand, unveiling 26 new designs at Spring Fair this week.

Since launch in 2008, the range has been taken on by over 500 outlets, including Fenwicks and all branches of John Lewis. Designs are also available online via the Thorntons website and Moonpig.

The cards are also a hit overseas and are currently available in France, Finland, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand and Australia.

Licensing agent KJG is also aiming to expand the brand into other areas. The firm has already signed Bluebird Brands for a range of Pip mugs, coasters, purses, wallets and umbrellas, which are also launching at Spring Fair.

"These new card designs are going to add to the incredible buzz that's surrounding the brand at present," said KJG's Kirsty Guthrie. "In licensing terms we are in talks with a number of interested parties, so 2010 is looking like it will be a busy year for Pip."
