Around 1,500 visitors from countries including Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK attended this year's Kazachok Licensing Forum in Paris - a 30 per cent increase over 2010, according to the organisers.

Highlights of the show - which took place at the Halle Freyssinet on March 31st and April 1st - included the new Fashion Floor, which featured brands such as Elle, Beverly Hills Polo Club and Moulin Rouge.

A number of new licences were also introduced to the market, including Meccano, Just Dance and Space Invaders from CPLG, Hero 108 from Moonscoop and Redakai from Zodiak Kids.

The 15th anniversary of South Park was celebrated at the evening get together, while Dragon Ball Z had its 20th birthday and Zodiak Group marked the birth of Zodiak Kids.

Feedback from visitors to the show was positive. Emelyne Thurier-Fouillé from License Lab said: "The show has really reached the next level this year", while Sylvain Vachier from L'olympique de Marseille said it was a "very accomplished edition".

The 2012 event is due to take place on March 29th and 30th.
